I knew Jerry Rivers, the fiddler of Hank Williams, Sr., who died in 1953, and met him in October 1989 at his home in Goodlettsville, near Nashville, Tennessee. Jerry had planned to come to Germany for a few weeks in November and asked if he might be able to do some gigs with me.
