Joining Toho in 1989, Ota has since become a managing executive officer of the company and presides over its Anime Group and Products & Licensing, Digital Content Sales, and IP Management & Strategy Departments.
Keiji Ôta is known for Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019), My Hero Academia: Two Heroes (2018) and Great Pretender (2020).

May 22, 2018 · Keiji Ota, Toho’s Chief Godzilla Officer (that’s a thing) recently gave an interview about Goji-kon, or the Godzilla Strategy Council (that is also a thing), where he talked about the upcoming projects for the Godzilla franchise as well as future plans.
Following up on Toho’s announcement to co-produce movies overseas, an interview with Toho’s chief Godzilla officer Keiji Ota was released in the March 2018 issue of License Global Magazine.
