American singer Kelly Price started her singing career in 1992. She worked as a backing vocalist for singer Mariah Carey , before rising to greater prominence after making uncredited guest appearances on singles by rappers The Notorious B.I.G. , and Mase .

Kelly Price started out as a songwriter and backup singer. But when her debut album, Soul Of A Woman, hit the streets in 1998, she became a double-platinum solo star. Her first single, "Friend Of Mine," was a No. 1 hit. Her other albums, Mirror, Mirror and Priceless, were smashes as well.
