Riccardo Pick-Mangiagalli was an Italian composer born in Bohemia. He studied at the Milan Conservatory; in 1936 he succeeded Ildebrando Pizzetti as its head. He wrote several operas and ballets, as well as chamber music; he also composed music for films.
There is also by Pick-Mangiagalli a set of three fugues for string quartet, which has been recorded (on LP with works by Malipiero and others.)
