Zhang Yadong (Chinese: 张亚东; pinyin: Zhāng Yàdōng, born in Shanxi, China, 11 March 1969) is one of China's best-known record producers, known as "the golden producer". His mother was a Shanxi Opera singer. He learned the cello from age 8 and began composing when he was 13.

张亚东，1969年3月11日出生于中国山西省大同市天镇县，中国内地男音乐人 、作曲、编曲 、歌手、导演。
1996年，张亚东成功监制王菲原创国语专辑《浮躁》 。1998年，发行个人首张音乐专辑《Ya Tung》 ，1999年，和张浅潜组成Z2组合，之后自然解散。2000年，签约普涞文化；同年，参加北京工人体育场举办的“反盗维权大型演唱会” 。
张亚东的母亲是晋剧演员 ，他从小耳濡目染，8岁学大提琴，13岁起在歌舞团学习编曲、管弦乐，练就一身弹琴、打鼓的本领，22岁时前往北京发展个人音乐事业 。
1996年，第一次成功监制王菲的整张原创国语专辑《浮躁》 ，其中有窦唯、林夕和黄伟文的合作，让专辑《浮躁》完成了根源摇滚与英式摇滚的结合与蜕变。专辑对于中文流行歌曲既定模式的颠覆，对专辑整体概念的坚持使意义明显 。
1998年，签约香港唱片公司并推出首张个人音乐专辑《Ya Tung》，引起广泛关注 。
1999年，和张浅潜组成Z2组合，签约摩登天空，之后自然解散 。
2000年，签约普涞文化有限公司；10月，参加北京工人体育场举办的《反盗维权大型演唱会》 。2001年，为陈琳作曲、编曲《爱就爱了》 。2001年，为张扬指导电影《昨天》配乐 。
2002年，为电影《蓝宇》、《开往春天的地铁》配乐。2003年，1月参加NHK；10月11日，赴北京展览馆剧场演出，12月31日，在九霄俱乐部演出 。
2003年，主演由徐静蕾自导自演的剧情电影《我和爸爸》，在片中饰演丈夫 。
张亚东前妻窦颖是窦唯的妹妹，是90年代的摇滚名人 ，两人于2000年离婚 。
张亚东为王菲制作mv时遇见到现场找朋友的高圆圆，不久就与妻子窦颖离婚，与高圆圆走到一起 。2006年初高圆圆宣布两人分手 。
2009年8月受邀担任香港佛教文化产业--佛教音乐委员会委员（演唱委员组）。
