Kerry Jordan and her husband Keith Davis were returning from a “fantastic holiday” in the UK last month when their plane hit severe turbulence over Myanmar and was forced to make an emergency landing in Bangkok. Of the 211 passengers and 18 crew members on board the Boeing 777-300ER, 80 people were left injured, and 20 were left in intensive care.

The Adelaide couple had spent some time in a hospital in Bangkok receiving medical treatment after Ms Jordan suffered a spinal injury during the flight.
