Michael Jeter (/ ˈ dʒ iː t ər /; August 26, 1952 – March 30, 2003) was an American actor and comedian. Known for his career on stage and screen Jeter played diverse characters taking on roles ranging from eccentric, pretentious, and wimpy characters. He won a Tony Award, and a Primetime Emmy Award.
Michael Jeter was an American actor from Tennessee, known for his roles in "Evening Shade", "Sesame Street", and "The Green Mile". He won a Primetime Emmy Award and died of an epileptic seizure in 2003.
