John Frederick Stein FRCPath FMedSci is a British physiologist. He is a fellow of Magdalen College, Oxford, and holds a professorship in physiology at the University of Oxford. He has research interests in the neurological basis of dyslexia.
Internationally renowned jazz guitarist John Stein was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, where he took up his instrument at an early age. His talent for and love of music ultimately earned him a faculty position at Berklee College of Music.
John Stein is a jazz guitarist and teacher from Kansas City, Missouri. Career. A native of Kansas City, Missouri, Stein took his first guitar lesson when he was seven and his first jazz lesson when he was thirteen. In 1967, he attended Beloit College, but he dropped out and moved to Vermont.
