Biographie. Née à Neuve-Eglise, Séverine Caneele passe la majeure partie de sa jeunesse à Bailleul, avant d'entrer comme ouvrière polyvalente dans une usine agroalimentaire, à Staden. C'est là-bas qu'elle est repérée par Bruno Dumont qui lui confie le rôle de Domino dans son second long-métrage, L'Humanité (1999).
