Thyme Lewis was born in San Francisco, California. His parents are artist Heidi McGurrin and jazz drummer Art Lewis. Thyme grew up in Big Sur, California, with his two siblings: Winona and Alistair. During college, Lewis discovered his love for acting, and started incorporating film classes to his curriculum.
Through his career, Lewis has appeared in films like Robot Jox, The Pandora Project (with Tony Todd), The Assault, and Cassidy Way. He has also appeared in TV shows like The Cape (with James Frain and John Gleeson Connolly), Hawthorne (with Christina Moore), and American Horror Story.
