Elyes Cherif Gabel (/ ˈ ɛ l i ə s ɡ ə ˈ b ɛ l /; born 8 May 1983) is an English actor, musician and filmmaker. Gabel's global breakout role was portraying computer genius Walter O'Brien in the CBS series Scorpion (2014–2018).
Elyes Gabel is a British-born actor who has appeared in TV shows such as Scorpion, Game of Thrones, and Suspicion, and films such as World War Z and A Most Violent Year. He is also a director and producer of short films and a voice actor for video games.
