  5. Oct 5, 2021 · Rick Arrington died Sept. 7 after a 10-week illness. He was 74. His name still rings a bell with longtime Charlotteans. He grew up in Stonewall Jackson Homes near the airport, then moved with his family to Selwyn Avenue and attended Myers Park High School.
