Kosuke Hagino (萩野公介, Hagino Kōsuke, born 15 August 1994) is a Japanese former competitive swimmer who specialized in the individual medley and 200 m freestyle. He is a four-time Olympic medalist, most notably winning gold in the 400 m individual medley at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Born in 1994, Hagino started swimming at 6 months of age and went on to break multiple age group records from an early age and set new records in junior high. As a 17-year old, he competed in his first Olympics Games in London, where he won a bronze medal in the 400m individual medley.
