Fielding Yost (born April 30, 1871, Fairview, West Virginia, U.S.—died August 20, 1946, Ann Arbor, Michigan) was an American collegiate football coach who was best known for his tenure at the University of Michigan (1901–23, 1925–26), where he also served as athletic director (1921–41).

Fielding Yost assembled the most devastating teams in the history of football, the famed "Point-A-Minute" teams at the University of Michigan in the early 1900s. "Hurry Up" Yost was a deadly earnest individual with a purity of spirit which belied his high wit and unwillingness to accept defeat.
Fielding Yost was inducted into the inaugural class of the College Football Hall of Fame in 1951, the University of Michigan Athletic Hall of Honor in 1979 and was inducted into the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame in 1955. He passed away on August 20, 1946 at 75 years of age.
