William Ferdie Brown (December 2, 1940 – October 21, 2019) was an American professional football player, coach and administrator. He played as a cornerback for the Denver Broncos and the Oakland Raiders of the American Football League (AFL) and later in the National Football League (NFL).

He played tight end, linebacker, and defensive end for legendary Tigers head football coach Eddie Robinson. Brown helped Grambling State win the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) championship as a freshman linebacker in 1960.
