Marcus Freeman (born January 10, 1986) is an American football coach and former linebacker who is the head coach of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He previously served as the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at Notre Dame in 2021.
On December 3, 2021, Freeman was announced as the 30th head coach in school history. Guided the Irish to a 10-3 mark, highlighted by a Sun Bowl victory over #21/22 Oregon State to close out the season.
