Under the National Electricity Rules (NER) SAPN must submit an electricity distribution revenue proposal for the next five year regulatory control period commencing 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2030 (2025-30) to the AER by 31 January 2024.
SA Power Networks . General information. SA Power Networks’ distribution network covers an area of about 178,200 square km, along a coastline of over 5,000 km. The network extends to over 88,322 km, of which approximately 20 percent is underground.
SA Power Networks is the sole electricity distribution network service provider (distributor) for South Australia. It is responsible for building, maintaining and upgrading the poles, wires and substations that deliver power to homes and businesses in the state.
