Juliusz Machulski (born 10 March 1955 in Olsztyn) is a Polish film director and screenplay writer. Son of noted actor Jan Machulski, Juliusz became notable for his comedies ridiculing the life in communist-ruled Poland of the 1970s and 1980s.

Juliusz Machulski is a director and screenwriter. He was born on 10th March, 1955 in Olsztyn to a family of actors. Between 1973 and 1974, he studied Polish philology at the University of Warsaw. From 1974 to 1978, he studied directing at the Film School in Łódź. He graduated in 1980. From 1984 to 1985, he studied at Cal-Arts, California.
