Marcel Ophuls (German:; born 1 November 1927) is a German-French documentary film maker and former actor, best known for his films The Sorrow and the Pity and Hôtel Terminus: The Life and Times of Klaus Barbie.
Marcel Ophüls is a French-American documentary filmmaker and the son of Max Ophüls. He has won an Oscar for Hôtel Terminus (1988) and made controversial films about World War II, Germany and journalism.
