Sep 1, 2011 · Don Hall receives the Motion Picture Sound Editors Career Achievement Award in 2004. I had the pleasure of working with Don Hall on several films in the early 1980s. As a sound editor, I have known him for almost 30 years.
Hall made his directorial debut for Disney Animation’s 2011 “Winnie the Pooh” and went on to direct “Big Hero 6,” which won an Academy Award® for best animated feature film. He then served as co-director on “Moana.”
