  3. General Information. The Istanbul State Conservatory, which started its education in the academic year 1971-1972, became a part of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in 1982. In the academic year 1986-1987, the Conservatory moved to the Baltacılar Dairesi in Dolmabahçe Palace.
