A trio of rum-runners during prohibition in the 1930s engage in a menage-a-trois after business hours. It's 1930. Claire (Liza Minnelli), an American living in Tijuana, Mexico, has just buried her husband Harry, who owned a dive bar there.
Walker and Kibby run a liquor smuggling operation in Mexico during Prohibition. They team up with Claire, a cabaret singer with connections to some nightclub owners. Things get complicated when Walker and Kibby both fall in love with Claire who can't decide which one she likes the best. But...
