Dan O'Bannon's The Resurrected feels like a TV miniseries, but condensed to feature length. Jack Shephard's dad does a good job carrying the movie, and Chris Sarandon gives it his unhinged best. The necromantic allure of Lovecraftian cinema is the eldritch horror of having shitty ancestors.
