Winnetou and Old Firehand (German: Winnetou und sein Freund Old Firehand) is a 1966 western film directed by Alfred Vohrer and starring Pierre Brice, Rod Cameron, and Marie Versini. It was made as a co-production between West Germany and Yugoslavia, as part of a series of Karl May adaptations made during the decade.

The character made his debut in the novel Old Firehand (1875). Stories. In May's story, first-person narrator Old Shatterhand encounters the Apache Winnetou, and after initial dramatic events, a true friendship arises between them. On many occasions, they give proof of great fighting skill, but also of compassion for other human beings.

The Desperado Trail (Winnetou III) October 14, 1965. Rollins' gang wants to grab land by inciting the settlers in a war against the Indians but Winnetou and Old Shatterhand try to keep the peace, until Rollins frames Winnetou up for the murder of Jicarilla Chief's son.
