They were on the forefront of the Southern California-based “JCHC” (Jesus Christ Hard Core) underground movement, along with Officer Negative, following in the footsteps of bands like The Crucified, Nobody Special, and Scaterd Few.
Formed in 1994, Headnoise is an old-school punk rock band from the southern Californian heritage that birthed other great groups in the JCHC movement (The Crucified, Officer Negative, NIV). In 2000 the group relocated to Chicago and Grrr Records, then returned to the west coast in 2011.
