2012 Directed by Srinath Samarasinghe. Young Anna is from Romania and old Noun is from Egypt. They are neighbours in a rundown building in Paris. They share the same interest in idle news but they hate to talk about themselves. Yet, old secrets are unveiled, little by little. The film ricochets in different directions.
Synopsis. Mr. Noun, an Egyptian and former projectionist, and Anna, a young Romanian prostitute, live in the same Parisian building. Although fifty years separate them, they share the same sense of fantasy, and the same taste for crime stories and spaghetti Westerns.
