The Cat Gang is a group of precocious British kids. They have a habit of hanging around a grown-up customs official who wishes that they'd beat it. But the Gang comes in handy when a smuggling gang arrives on the scene.
Three children making a map of all the interesting places around their seaside village stumble upon a group of suspicious-acting gents and begin to investigate their activities. Turns out they're a gang of smugglers who use a recurring cat motif in all their plans.
