The first is a veteran combatant known as the Big Soldier (Jackie Chan), who has a knack for tricking people into thinking he is dead on the battlefield by using a fake arrow. The other man is a young general of the Wey (Wang Leehom), who has been wounded in the fighting.
A foot soldier from Liang captures a wounded General from Wei in a war-torn China and takes him on a long journey to collect the reward. Along the way, they face many dangers and challenges, and a bond forms between them.
