The Guy from Harlem (also known as The Good Guy from Harlem [1]) is a 1977 American blaxploitation film directed by Rene Martinez Jr. [2] [3] Plot. Al Connors is a groovy, streetwise private investigator transplanted from Harlem to Miami, [4] where he is highly acclaimed and sought out.
A private detective in Miami gets involved in a plot to rescue a kidnapped woman and protect a visiting African princess. The film is a low-budget blaxploitation movie with poor reviews and a Rifftrax commentary.
