Future Soldier is a reform of the British Army resulting from the Integrated Review of Security, Defence, Development and Foreign Policy ("Global Britain in a Competitive Age") published in March 2021.

Nov 25, 2021 · The Army will consider the detail of what the future force will look like after the Integrated Review and the Defence Command Paper. The outcome will be a more agile, more integrated and more expeditionary Army, ready for the next challenge.
The Future Soldier Program, also called the Delayed Entry Program (DEP), lets Soldiers join the Army now and ship out at a later date. The program is popular among high schoolers and other candidates who need some time to finish their current commitments.
