Moomins on the Riviera (Finnish title: Muumit Rivieralla) is a 2014 Finnish-French animated family comedy film directed by Xavier Picard and produced by Hanna Hemilä, who is also co-director. The film is based on Moomin comic strips by Tove Jansson and Lars Jansson .

Sep 15, 2014 · The Moomin team was treated to the new Moomins on the Riviera film this weekend and we loved it! The creators have truly stayed true to the characters, the original Riviera comic story, and the spirit of the Moomins.
'Moomins On The Riviera' is a sweet film that sails wonderfully on it's charm, the characters are great and at the end the Moomins are back at home having had a great adventure.
