Hobson shoots these sweeping nature sequences with a heavy emphasis on the symbolic, as if Terrence Malick ’s biggest fan were somehow trapped in George Romero ’s universe.

After a couple of weeks seeking out his teenage daughter Maggie, Wade finds her in the quarantine wing of a hospital.
