All four episodes – Bandit Goes Country, Bandit Bandit, Beauty and the Bandit and Bandit's Silver Angel – were produced for Universal Television's Action Pack programming block from original Smokey and the Bandit director/writer Hal Needham.
Bandit Goes Country is the first in a series of four television movies entitled Bandit, spin-offs of Smokey and the Bandit. It first aired 30 Jan 1994. Brian Bloom portrays Bandit in this series, though none of the other original characters are portrayed.
Rural folks tag along with a trucker (Brian Bloom) called Bandit and his buddy (Brian Krause) on the road to a family reunion.
