What's Up, Doc? is a 1972 American screwball comedy film directed by Peter Bogdanovich and starring Barbra Streisand and Ryan O'Neal. It was intended to pay homage to comedy films of the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s, especially Bringing Up Baby [3] and Warner Bros. Bugs Bunny cartoons.
Peter Bogdanovich's "What's Up, Doc?" is billed as a wacky screwball comedy with absolutely no redeeming social importance, and I guess that's the most accurate billing so far this year. It has to do with four guests who check into a hotel on the same day, with identical red plaid overnight bags.
