Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol is a 2011 spy film, and the fourth installment in the Mission: Impossible film series series. It stars Tom Cruise, who reprises his role of IMF Agent Ethan Hunt, and is director Brad Bird's first live-action film.
Ethan Hunt and his team must clear the IMF's name after a bombing of the Kremlin that implicates them in a nuclear plot by a rogue scientist. The film follows their action-packed chase across Dubai and Mumbai to stop the terrorist from launching a nuclear war.
Ebert praises the movie's action sequences, performances and director Brad Bird, but questions Tom Cruise's stunts on the Burj Khalifa. He compares the film to Clint Eastwood's The Eiger Sanction and wonders if it's all CGI.
