Lisa and the Devil is a 1974 horror film directed by Mario Bava. The film was first released in Spain as El diablo se lleva a los muertos ( lit. 'The Devil Takes the Dead') [2] and stars Elke Sommer as a young tourist named Lisa who loses her way in Toledo and spends the night at a villa belonging to a mysterious countess and her son. [3]

A tourist gets lost in a Spanish village and stays in a haunted villa with a strange butler who resembles the devil. She learns that she is the reincarnation of a woman who loved and died there, and the butler's stepfather.
Lisa is a tourist in an ancient city. When she gets lost, she finds an old mansion in which to shelter. Soon she is sucked into a vortex of deception, debauchery and evil presided over by housekeeper Leandre.
A hallucinating woman (Elke Sommer) flees to a mansion full of corpses and sees the devil (Telly Savalas) and other evil beings.
