Godzilla vs. Megalon. Nuclear testing unleashes mayhem on the undersea kingdom of Seatopia, causing a series of environmental disasters that nearly wipes out Rokuro, the schoolboy protagonist at the center of this film.
Overview. Inventor Goro Ibuki creates a humanoid robot named Jet Jaguar. It is soon seized by an undersea race of people called the Seatopians. Using Jet Jaguar as a guide, the Seatopians send Megalon as vengeance for the nuclear tests that have devastated their society.
The titles used were Godzilla vs. Megalon, the international title, and Godzilla tai Megaro, a hybrid of the Romaji title. Played at the Toho Champion Festival in Spring of 1973. It was featured alongside Prominent Youth! (1973) and Panda Go Panda: The Rainy Day Circus (1973).
