A small-town basketball star faces challenges and corruption at a big-city university on a scholarship. He gets help from his tutor, Janet Hays, and learns to balance sports and education.
Synopsis. A naive high school basketball player wins a scholarship to college, where he feels that he is out of his league. He finds that both his opponents and the players on his own team are better at the sport than he is, and is unnerved by the corruption caused by the "win at any price" attitude at the school.
