The Model Factory offers a cyber-physical platform for the experimentation and development of holistic circular manufacturing concepts including Design for Circularity, Smart Sorting and Disassembly of end-of-life products and the fostering of contextualized Industrial Symbiosis capabilities.
Leveraging integrated strategies for co-creation between government agencies, research performers, and industry across the research ecosystem, the Model Factory provides a platform to test-bed new capabilities towards an era of Smarter, Greener, and More Connected manufacturing.
