The California Trail was an emigrant trail of about 1,600 mi (2,600 km) across the western half of the North American continent from Missouri River towns to what is now the state of California.
The Cisco Kid, an elusive gentleman bandit who is wanted by the California police, arrives in the town of San Lorenzo with his partner, Baby, and meets a Spanish dancer named Raquel in a saloon. Later, in her dressing room, Cisco hides while Raquel gets rid of her boyfriend, Raoul.
