Kostas is a 1979 film directed by Paul Cox about a Greek taxi driver. [2] Production. The film was shot over four weeks in March 1979. $100,000 of the budget came from the Victorian Film Corporation. [1] Post-production on the film was rushed so Cox could ready it in time for the Melbourne Film Festival, which he later said was a mistake.

Kostas 1979 Melbourne movie. For me, personally, a great reminder of how much the arrival of Greek immigrants to Melbourne added to the enjoyment of my then social life.

[Jan 2024]: NOTE in my daytimer says i watched Kostas, and this film seems to be the only possibility, but it does seem unlikely considering there are only 45 IMDb ratings.
