Synopsis. La rue du Roi-Albert, à Nantes, où habite la colonelle et où ont lieu les affrontements. Le film se déroule en 1955, à Nantes, en pleine grève. François Guilbaud, un ouvrier gréviste, loue une chambre en ville à Mme Langlois, veuve d'un colonel qu'elle n'aimait pas, ruinée par les frasques de son fils mort.
