Summaries. A young man with teleportation abilities suddenly finds himself in the middle of an ancient war between those like him and their sworn annihilators. David Rice is a high school student in Ann Arbor, abandoned by his mother at five years old, and living with his callous, alcoholic father.
Jumper. A young man with the ability to teleport is secretly protected by his absent, conflicted mother comes of age and tries to court his girlfriend while being caught up in a war between a fellow "Jumper" and "Harlequins," a sinister group dedicated to eradicating Jumpers.
David escapes and reunites with his high school crush, Millie (Rachel Bilson), then forms an alliance with fellow jumper Griffin (Jamie Bell) and prepares for mortal combat with Cox.
