Techniquest is a science discovery centre located in Cardiff Bay, Wales. It gives visitors a hands-on approach to science and includes a science theatre, a planetarium , and an exhibition space with over 100 interactive exhibits aimed at visitors of all ages.
Opening times. Capacity is limited, so book ahead online to avoid disappointment. We operate staggered entry times through the day and the last entry is two hours before closing. Please aim to arrive no later than 30 minutes after your chosen entry time. Tuesday 30 July.

The UK’s longest-established Science Discovery Centre, Techniquest was founded in 1986 in Cardiff city centre; moving down to Cardiff Bay the following year, before becoming the country’s first purpose-built science centre in 1995.
