Andrew Prestidge is a man of many genres. In fact, for him nothing seems to be off-limits. Doom-metal, psych-rock, kosmische – you name it. His latest incarnation is the rather marvellous Morlock; a bounty of electronica, psych and krautrock that picks up where two of his other endeavours, The Osiris Club and Zoltan, left off.
Suns of the Tundra began as a collaboration in 2002 between Simon Oakes, Rob Havis, and Andrew Prestidge, drawing on influences from Rush, King Crimson, and Van der Graaf Generator to Tool and Mastodon.
It was recorded with Kevin Heybourne on guitar and vocals, Will Palmer on the bass guitar, Bill Steer on the guitar, and Andrew Prestidge on the drums. They also returned to playing live, with a second stage headline slot at Bloodstock Open Air in 2011.
