Alexander Kuoppala (born 11 April 1974) is a Finnish musician. He was the guitarist for the Finnish melodic death metal band Children of Bodom from 1995 to 2003. He played on their albums Something Wild, Hatebreeder, Follow the Reaper, and Hate Crew Deathroll.

Kuoppala aloitti kitaransoiton kymmenvuotiaana keskittyen aluksi bluesiin ja jazziin. Myöhemmin Kuoppalan musiikkityyli muuttui radikaalisti hänen tutustuttua raskaamman musiikin yhtyeisiin, kuten W.A.S.P., Judas Priest, Manowar ja Ozzy Osbourne.
Soittaessaan trumpettia paikallisessa big bandissä Kuoppala tutustui vuonna 1995 Jaska Raatikaiseen, joka toimi rumpalina IneartheD-yhtyeessä, joka muutti myöhemmin nimensä Children of Bodomiksi.
