Linda-Philomène Tsoungui is a full-time drummer based out of Germany who plays and tours with artists such as Chefket, Mine, Fatoni, Mal Éléve, Elif, and Lxandra. With an opera singer mother and Cameroonian father who introduced her to Bikutsi and salsa music, rhythm has always been an important part of Tsoungui’s life.

Als Tochter eines Kameruners und einer deutschen Opernsängerin wurde Tsoungui in Plauen geboren und zog im Alter von sechs Jahren nach Hof, wo sie später das musische Jean-Paul Gymnasium besuchte. Tsoungui dozierte für Online Lessons TV und saß 2018 in der Jury des Austrian Drummer Awards. Im September 2019 gab sie ihre erste Clinic beim Dresdner Drum and Bass Festivalmit dem Schwerpunkt elektronische Produktion und Drumming im Band Kontext.

Linda-Philomène Tsoungui is a drummer, producer and musical director. She studied classical percussion and popular music. In her artistic journey, she focuses on reflecting her life in the diaspora as well as emancipating from a Eurocentric view on music and culture.
