Charles Edward McCormick (May 8, 1946 – April 12, 2022) was an American musician. He was best known as the bassist, founding member, and one of the lead singers of the American R&B/soul and funk band Bloodstone.
We have long celebrated the greatness of the group Bloodstone, but today we mourn the passing of the group’s longtime lead singer, Charles McCormick. Bloodstone was formed in 1962 as a Kansas City high school doo-wop group then called the Sinceres.
