Biografía. Jurisconsulto, orador, militar, polemista, periodista y diplomático antioqueño (Valparaíso, 12 de abril de 1859 - Bogotá, 15 de octubre de 1914). Rafael Uribe Uribe nació en la hacienda El Palmar, en ese entonces jurisdicción del municipio de Caramanta, pero que hoy corresponde a Valparaíso, en Antioquia.
