Lieutenant General Richard John Cripwell, CB, CBE (born 1962) is a former senior British Army officer. He serves as the Lieutenant Governor of Guernsey since 2022.

Lieutenant General Richard Cripwell CB, CBE was installed as the new Lieutenant-Governor of the Bailiwick of Guernsey at a ceremony in St James on the morning of 15th February 2022. Following education in Dublin, Richard Cripwell was commissioned into the Corps of Royal Engineers in August 1982.
